Live London Underground updates as 6 different lines suspended or delayed with person on tracks

Several London Underground lines and TfL are facing severe delays this afternoon and one is part suspended due to a casualty on the tracks (Saturday, December 9). Two other lines are closed and these closures have been planned and passengers have been made aware to use alternative routes.

The Bakerloo line was part suspended and is facing severe delays. There are severe delays due to an earlier points failure at Piccadilly Circus.

There are severe delays on the Central line between White City and Ealing Broadway / West Ruislip and between Leytonstone and Epping / Woodford via Hainault due to a shortage of trains. There are minor delays on the rest of the line.

There are minor delays on the Jubilee line due to a train shortage.

On the Metropolitan line, there are severe delays due to an earlier signal failure at Dollis Hill.

On the London Overground, there are minor delays between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction / Richmond due to obstructions on the track at Acton Central and Shepherd's Bush.

There is a part closure on the DLR between Canning Town and Beckton. This closure is planned for the whole weekend. Replacement buses are in operation. There is also a planned closure on the Waterloo and City line.
